Oxford Streets for People encourages people to look at ways of
making permanent improvements in street design and management.
As a first step, get together with like-minded neighbours and review your street and changes that could – or should – be made to make it a better space.
Once you have come up with some proposals,
consult everyone in the street. Look at: |

- ways of making your street safer – traffic calming, mending pavements
- the design – street furniture, trees, signage
- ways of looking after it better - eg regular litter picking patrols
